I don't have room for an in the ground water garden so I have used pots. I have 4 pots I have used to create mine. One is an old mixing bowl with a Snowman design on it, I found a pretty embossed punch bowl at the thrift store, a Dollar General plastic whiskey barrel looking planters and a planter that looks like an old truck.
The Snowman bowl and punch bowl both have Water Lilies, one bloomed last year. The faux whiskey barrel holds Water Iris and the truck has a....um, I forget what it is Rolling Eyes

The Water Iris were my first water plants and have been in the garden for at least 4 years, growing and being moved to larger pots every year.
This year I have blooms, for some reason I expected white or yellow, but what I have are gorgeous dark, dark purple. Three have opened with two more buds coming along.

Looks like you did a great job of making do with little space...water gardens are wonderful, and I can't imagine not having one. My water lilies are starting to sprout some leaves now...I can see them about 2 feet below the surface. I doubt that they'll bloom here until early July, but it's fun watching them grow.

There you go again being creative. Great water garden and the Iris look 'delicious'. Beautiful color.
