I need to re-site a clematis whilst some garden reshaping is effected. How should I store the plant?
Many thanks!

If I need to move plants for a short period of time, I often find room for them in a flower border. If the roots are very big, or the work will take a while, I take a bag of soil, cut it open and put the plant in there for the duration.

Our Clematis are dormant now, and can take quite a lot when it comes to moving them. I don't know how that is where you are.
