I like the taste of seaweed and have included it in my soups and stews. Full of nutrients!

was he eating seaweed or kelp?... kelp tastes horrible. seaweed is thin & is usually in soups.. kelp is the stuff that they fry.. kelp is what they use to make kombu dashi (japanese soup stock).. the stock made from it tastes pretty good, but i wouldn't eat the big, thick kelp strip by itself! YUCK!

i have tried seaweed & i love it! i love it in miso soup, especially. Smile miso soup is easy to make & can be made all kinds of ways.. just look for a recipe online. Smile
