Guess what's finally coming up. I was beginning to think they never would but I found at least 7 and some more little green spots where some might be peeking through the dirt. Most of the others came up right away except the delphiniums. I hope they grow now too. They are all in the greenhouse. Dooley

Wonderful news Dooley.  My Bluebells are all beginning to flower here. They're one of my favourite flowers.

How do they differ from English Bluebells? I have carpets of bluebells (blue, purple, white and pink) all over my yard and as far as I know they are termed "English" by purveyors of bulbs...
Are they plaid? Do you fertilize them with whiskey?

Well, mine are Scottish bluebells because someone not named sent them to me from Scotland. I don't know where she got hers. Dooley

Scottish bluebells have white stemens. A lot of English bluebells actually come via Spain, would you believe, and have black stamens. It was a nurseryman told me that years ago 'cause I thought they were all exactly the same.

Well I'll be jiggered - I have carpets of Scottish bluebells then - and a small pocket of English ones too. What fun!

Some of mine come up pinkish/lavender instead of blue every year but I have no idea why!!

Mine are lavender, pink, purple, white and blue - they've been naturalizing for years, so some of it must be from crossovers between them.
Here they are, from a picture I was taking of my tulips this afternoon -
