I concur that the scrumptious tomato is not a vegetable, so I can admit that green beans are my favorite and I can still have my tomatoes. YAHoo! Beans are so versital. They are great raw, cooked, in a casserole, dried and made into soup. Much as I like all vegetables, beans has to be # 1.

I love spinach and green beans. I like baking with pumpkin because it stays moist, is colorful and is good for you. Also, it says "Fall" to me

well after the first summer of having a garden and having bushels of cherry tomato's.
I will go for cherry tomatoes this year.
One of the most versatile veggys, I love how you can eat it fresh off the vine or take it inside and make any number of dishes.
As an avid cook I love the variety of fresh dishes i can make with it.

I love them all but tomatoes are my favorite especially since I learned how to enhance their flavor by planting a row of basil next to the tomato plants. I've always loved gardening but a while back I discovered herb gardening and haven't looked back. Herbs are the most amazing class of plants because of their history and wide variety of things they can do.

I absolutely love broccoli. I remember when I was very young I grew a HUGE one. So big that I took it to school for lunch for three days. Since then I haven't tried to grow it again, but maybe I will this year.

Fresh sweet corn directly from the garden. It is great raw, steamed, boiled, buttered, creamed, with butter beans and many other ways.

My favorite hands down is homegrown tomatos. I love them sliced with salt and pepper, on sandwiches etc. I even take them and slice sharp cheddar cheese on them and melt the cheese. So good
