Yum! Congratulations Stew Face 2

I have a couple of hanging baskets of strawberries. Last night, I took them down to water them. Then I got pre-occupied with watering a garden. When I came back, a chipmunk had taken a bite out of each ripe strawberry. Shocked

Darn chipmunk. Looking into my crystal ball, I can see into his (their) future. I see a long drive into the countryside to their new country home.

Nice looking strawberries you have, congrats.
I wonder if HD or Lowes still has strawberry plants, you all have gotten me hungry for homegrown. Rolling Eyes

Oh how exciting!!! They look lovely and delicious! I love that pot you've got too.

CC, you have a time with those chipmunks, don't you? They're into everything.

I have three plants and nary a berry... had some, but "someone" ate them when they were small. Not sure if it had feathers or fur. Hope it enjoyed them... Mad

Yummy, looks delicious. I'm so envious of you all who have strawberries already. We've still got a while to wait.

We have been picking strawberries for a few weeks now. Something also got my first ripe berry. I went to Agway the next day and purchased netting for seven dollars and change. I have not lost a berry since. Very Happy

Just look at those big, fat juicey-looking strawbs.
I can just imagine that you will relish every bite...I sure do.
