Hello Water-gardeners... I hope you can help me out with my Wedelia trilobata Golden Water Zinnia. I bought it to "try out" a water plant. It is in a 4" perforated plastic pot that is in a pot that is about 7 inches in diameter. It is sitting atop a rock so that the top of the smaller pot is just below the top of the larger one. The water comes up to about the top of the 4" pot, sometimes a little higher, sometimes a little lower. It's getting new growth without a problem and has new shoots that may even be the beginning of flower buds on the ends. But the lower leaves seem to be yellowing and I'm not sure why or if it is normal. It is in part sun, and full sun in the late afternoon. Here is its picture... any ideas? How do I feed a water plant? Thank you in advance!

A word of caution daisybeans, do not let that touch the ground. You will have it all over the place. It roots at each node. It has taken over whole flowerbeds here. I have even sprayed it with Roundup for brush and shrubs. It still lurks. It is a nightmare.

Wow, thank you for that insight, CB -- I read some comments to that effect as I was googling it and with yours added, I'll take it seriously.
