Hey everyone. I'm thinking about getting a small plant for my desk at work-- I think it would be nice Smile Any recommendations? Does anyone else keeps plants or flowers on their desk at work? If so, let me know what you have!

In our offices, we have low-ish light conditions and the three that do best are Peace Lily, African Violets (they seem to love the flourescent light) and Pothos. Our Admin Asst keeps others going too, but these three do the best.

Thanks! We have low-sih fluorescent lighting too so maybe I will look into some of those. Appreciate it!

Spider plants seem to thrive in offices too but I'd go for African violets as they are so pretty even when they're not flowering. Peace lilies are great but they tend to get quite big.

The philodendron and golden button fern do well for me. They stay smaller, and I don't have a lot of room. (They also do OK with long week-ends with no light - no outside windows.)
