You cant control your plants!! Those things have a mind of thier own!
Heres some pics around the Gnome Dome!
Sneaky Gnomes are making away with my Froggie Rain gauge!!!
Siam Tulip. All leaves(huge) and no flowers!
Dont know what this little guy (siam tulip)is doing but its doing something!!! It grow right through the pot, without breaking it!!!! In one little hole and killed my cat tree on the way up!
Tried to grow my honeysuckle as a hanging plant.....not working too well!!!
Hmmmmmmmmm a caladuim growing in the middle of nothing and not even close to a garden or pot.
Heres a pic of some of my potted plants.
The little black pot in front of the large grey one is my hydrangas (sp). Its doing better in the pot than the ground!
My fountain grass is just growing and growing!
My elephant ears are growing fast too!
this is an unknown one that is huge! This leaf just opened! I cant wait til its full grow. I bet it will be HUGE!
my black and green ears
My Black Magic
I have to repot it. It grew out the bottom of its pot!!!! It has some very deep roots!
My "star" elephant ears
I got this little guy to grow! Its a bougainville vine. When I got the big one, this little guy was all but dead in the pot with it. It had one tiny little root. So I planted it in its own pot and babied it!
Painted daisies and purple aster....Wish they would bloom already!
This has a mixure of lots in there.... but not overly crowded...I have Acidanthera(snow white), Liatris(purple), Anemones(multi colored) and Brodiaea (blue)
Passion flower, the flowers a bloominng a darker red now.
And of course my roses!
Europeana
And my beautiful New Years!

They surely have a mind of their own! I've never grown Elephant Ears, but you make me want to - hm!
Maybe you need to leave out a few snacks for those gnomes to make them less unruly. Tsk!

Drooling here at the Passion Flower photo! Great photos Denee. Be careful that you're obsession with Elephant Ears doesn't dethrone you unhealthy obsession with roses

See.............. what happen was........... Just kidding.... You know, out of roses and elephant ears, elephant ears are my first love with my roses in close second. Im always on the look out for a new ear. Alway! While I truely love my roses, I am really into that tropical foliage look. Thats why all my elephant ears are pretty much in the same area. When it all grows in, paradise! Ill get me a little table and chairs and just pretend Im in a rainforest!
As amatter a fact, Im trying to convince my hubby that I really need this new elephant ear! LOL Its a giant! The bulb itself wont fit in my hands!!!! Its huge!!!!! The ears are suppose to be almost 5 ft long!!!! I WANT I WANT! I told him, "Love you long time!" But he said I would without it...LOL He got me there!
Theres one type that is from Brazil I think. You cant get them here except for privite owners. The plant itself is over 30 ft high and the ears are longer than Rob who is over 6ft 5....... I realllllyyyyy want that one!
