I found this on the sale table the other day at HD, no tag and the only one there.
The flowers were already pretty faded but there was a hint of blue in them before they turned completely brown. Of course the people working there had no idea what it is, that's not part of the sales training.

Could be a type of Plumbago, toni. I have them in one of my gardens. It's a late summer/early fall bloomer with the most striking rich blue colour.

I did a google too and I really hope it is a Plumbago. I had a creeping one years ago and the blue was striking. I guess I had better find a large pot for it for the rest of this year to see how large it will get.

Now the mystery plant, temporarily ID'ed as a Plumbago is blooming. The blue is intense with the few blooms it has, I can only imagine how striking it will be all covered in blooms
So this pretty much cinches the ID as a Plumbago doesn't it?

I can't help with an ID but I just had to have a  over those gorgeous blue flowers. Oh heck I think I'll have another one

Don't think it is Ceratostigma plumbaginoides though. There is one called C. willmottianum, but not sure what that looks like. Oh to be able to Google images!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After a couple of hours scouring thru photos of Plumbago on all sorts of sites it is a good thing the flowers are such a beautiful color or I would be sick of this plant by now. But I did learn a lot about it, probably much more than one person really needs to know tho 
It is a Ceratostigma plumbaginoides and it might be the dwarf variety. Until I know for sure what size it will be, I have a nice large planter waiting for it.
Glendann, the leaves on mine aren't fuzzy just a different shade of green and thick. I think yours is the Ceratostigma willmottianum that Palustris mentioned.

I hope you enjoy yours as much as I have mine tonie.I now will try to find one like yours I love the blooms on yours too.I wintered mine the first year in the greenhouse and it bloomed all winter right into spring and summer.I left it out the next year and its slow to come back but come back it does.
