Hello all, I am putting a pond in my under construction cottage garden. I have purchased a liner and am wondering if my first step is to lay the liner out and then decide the size/shape of the pond. I intend on putting in a small waterfall, is it best to dig the pond then create a burm to form the waterfall? Any advice about the pond creating process would be helpful. Thanks Stew Face 1

Some of our other members may be able to give you more direct advice but I thought this would be of help:

At least it will give you an idea of how to go about things.
