Hi folks my name is jodie and I am British but have lived in the Netherlands for almost 10 years.

I am very into my garden but not a very good gardener.........my other big love is art especially garden art and mosaic.

I will be boring you all with my home made art works usually made from found objects otherwise known as junk!!

i'm now gonna go and read all the forum has to offer but having already browsed a little i'm sure i'm gonna be a long long time in the reading.

Hi Jodie, welcome to GardenStew from north Texas.
Woohoo, another junk collector. We would love to see photos of your art work, Garden Junk/Yard Art is so much fun to have in the garden.
We do have a Garden Junk forum too.

Hi everybody and thanks for the welcome. I will deffinately post some pics but first I have to update my picture hosting site.

I must warn you though I am prolific and nothing is safe from my hands. I do 'stuff' for inside but also the garden and intend to to do lots more as the garden is my inspiration. My chief passions are mosaicing but i'm still a learner and i enjoy weaving strips into 'lamps' for both inside and outside the house.

I must also admit sometimes my enthusiam is not matched by my skills but hey ho I enjoy it.

I'll get to my picture hosting site asap and get some fotos on here.

Good for you Jodilee! I love that comment that your enthusiasm isn't always matched by your skills! I feel like that all the time too1 Your lamps sound interesting. I hope to see what that looks like.
