As PlantStew gets larger it is getting a little more difficult to do some of the administrative things myself. So if there is a member who would like to help me to perform some of the background stuff I would be very grateful. There is a shiny new role available to whoever is up to it Smile

There are some skills required for this role:
- Ability to use a graphics package to crop, resize and fix colours on plant images. These will be used in the creation of thumbnails (50x50 pixels) to appear in plant search results.
- Ability to choose the best common names to appear alongside plant names in plant search results. This will require some adequate search engine research skills.

Although this sounds like a job description it is still voluntary! Smile Send me a PM if interested. Thanking you!

Thanks you all. I spent most of yesterday resizing photos, searching google for the information needed and getting more of the PlantStew plant pages out on the web for all to see. Still got a few hundred to go Wink

I am learning a lot more about plants, some I have never heard of much less could grow in my climate. And I get to enjoy everyone's beautiful plant photos as I do the resizing. That's a nice side benefit. Very Happy

Congratulations Toni. You must be a work-a-holic. I am always in awe of those folks that have the capacity to do so much.
Good luck with the re-sizing, etc.
