I have what I've thought was to be bamboo next door to us. The stalk is probably the size of a silver dollar and hallow in the middle. I was doing some research on the computer and all of the leaves seem to be long and narrow. This one has very large leave maybe 6-8 inches wide. It dies off each winter and comes back in the spring. It never gets any taller or larger around. It's got to be over 25 years old, because we have been living here since 1984. You might not be able to help me find out what this is but I thought I would give you a try. If you can help me find out what this is I would very much appreciate it.
