That appears to be a Sedum 'Autumn Joy'

Not astilbe. Sedum, maybe 'Autumn Joy' but it doesn't look like the one I have so perhaps not.

The butterfly is an Eastern Comma Butterfly - Polygonia comma
I have many in my yard every summer.
