I recently purchased a home with a master bedroom on the entire third floor. in the corner is a jacuzzi. it's not an ensuite, just a jacuzzi, open to the rest of the room.

i'm wondering what you think of a jacuzzi in the master bedroom for resale purposes.

I have a garden jacuzzi tub, in master suite, does that count?, also a walk-in shower, and I can see it from my pc desk which is in the bedroom part of suite.

Hmm, kinda cool really, but somehow it doesn't have the right feel for me.

I don't know, it's like mixing bathroom with a bedroom, I'd definitely choose to have a en-suite master bedroom and a jacuzzi there ^^

We have a jacuzzi tub and a walk in shower in the master bath. I think it was a little icing on the cake, but we loved the house with or without it.

Understand that it will produce a lot of moisture in the air and when the temps drop below freezing at night you will get excessive condensation on your windows. If you have wood sills, you may experience some rot if you are not careful.

Today's homes are so well sealed that the indoor humidity remains very high as the outside temp and humidity plummets.

I think if the Jacuzzi is being presented as a 'spa' like room then it will be a selling feature.

Is this a jacuzzi bathtub, that you would fill up each time? That would be ok, especially for a couple, not a great selling point however, because there would be lots of opinions.

Is it a regular jacuzzi, with hot water in it all the time. That would get too steamy, humid.

If I was the potential buyer it would be a big plus for me.
