Toni, I was just looking at the link you attached. That is a beautiful pic of the Sphinx moth. You must be so excited! I would feel incredibly protective of it. I saw that MD wasn't on the list, but I checked out the map of West Virginia, where my extended family live. There were just 4 small areas where they've been reported in the four corners of the state. That is so fascinating to me because the areas are so far from one another. ON the other hand, WV is sparsely populated in a lot of areas because of the steep mountains so perhaps the moths live in other areas but no one has noticed. None of the areas are near to where my family live.
