Eastern Comma ( photo / image / picture from drissel122's Garden )
I live in Southern New Jersey and we have just had a whopper of a N'or Easter blow through. Today is gorgeous though, and today was the perfect day to dispell cabin fever and walk in the woods. I was surprised when I came upon this Eastern Comma. It had no wing damage that I could see and was pert and lively. I also saw a quick flash of a yellow butterfly, maybe an orange sulphur, I'm not sure. A good day for a walk.

A lovely butterfly it is too. Lucky you to still see butterflies outside.
