I think it's good to look back sometimes and remember those that are no longer with us - whatever the reason for their absence. Time marches on and things change but memories are forever.
All the very best for Thanksgiving Margie. I hope you enjoy your day to the full and have a lovely time.

Happy Thanksgiving, tomorrow. We are having three friends over for dinner. Last year we were packing up to move to Texas so we all went to Golden Corral buffet for our Thanksgiving dinner. Friday we packed the truck and Saturday we left Arizona. We will be here in Texas one year on December the 1st. We miss our kids but they have their families and traditions now. Everyone must celebrate and give thanks for their year in their own way and food has nothing to do with it except traditions. dooley

Very well said, This will be the first year I won't have all my kids with us. As my daughter having her baby of almost 3 months now, they want to have their own dinner and start some of their traditions.
I have pies in the oven so here's hopeing everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving. I'll be watching parades in the morning.

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you and Margie, I am thankful also for all of my Garden Stew friends that have become so special to me. Who knew when I asked that simple question about pruning my Laurel shrub (answered immediately by Droopy!) that I would "meet" such wonderful, generous, friendly folks from all over th world!!! Enjoy the day everyone, even if it's not Thanksgiving there.
