These are some birds common in Nederland. The website is run by the bird protection organization that sponsored the bird counting earlier in the year.
To begin just klik on a picture of one of the birds. It will take you to a live camera. Some have TWO cams: inside the nesting box and outside.
Over to the tight there are episodes of short videos that have been saved. You can klik on those and watch. There is sound.

What a wonderful website, thank you for the link. I just finished watching the oolevarr. She stood up and was fluffing up the nest and then the male flew in and out with insects. Beautiful birds, looks a bit windy & cool. I could hear the wind and feathers were being ruffled (and a man was walking below & he had on a jacket). 
I also watched a bit of the owls on video very cool.
I have to come back later. I have work to do outside before the rains come in later todayso will visit it again when I have more time.

I had to come back and edit my post, I asked you all these questions because it was in Dutch and when I went back to the site a second time I saw the Translate button on the google toolbar 
I shared this website with my Birds in the Garden group on another website I visit. I have been getting back great feedback on a wonderful site...very well done.

I am very happy that you liked the website, KAY--I watch this every spring. The cams are operational until all the birds have fledges later on in the spring.
I keep the website on much of the day and night...even when the telly is on because I like staying current. It is even more fun when there are eggs and then young ones.
Many of the other birds are inactive during the night, bit the owls are active during the night time.
I hope that you will enjoy the site during the brooding season.
GAIL--I am very happy that you like this site. I like watching the birds live, but I also watch the older videos over to the right because I can't watch live every minute of the day...and the people who run this website select the video clips that are interesting to watch from the past day (and night).
I apologise for not having seen your posting in time--as I would have been glad to translate for you. I soent the day at the allotments and then had guests this evening for supper.
What I was excited to hear was that you thought enough of the website quality to pass it on to your other group. That was very nice. I was further delighted to hear that there were positive comments.
I really enjoy watching birds. If I had some way of making a day consist out of 48 hours, I would spend an equal amount of time watching birds and gardening.
I did alot of that when I lived and worked Alaska. They had a great variety of migratory species that passed through there as well as nested.

I am so glad you posted this site, its wonderful.
Those storks make an odd chattering sound. I had minimized it while I was on another site and I kept hearing this odd sound and then I realized it was coming from the storks!  The are beautiful when they fly in and out.
I agree with you, there are not enough hours in the day...especially this time of year. We had rain today so was catching up on indoor chores after 3 very nice days outside.

That clattering sound that they make with their beeks really brings back memories to me from a trip I once made to Morocco. I was sitting quietly in the shade at an ancient site looking into a small but deep pool of water. It was chrystal clear and was a portion of a street flooded with water. There were eels swimming in and out of buildings that were once shops along a Roman street. It was magical.
My concentration was broken by that clattering sound coming from atop a dilapidated, tiled mineret just ajacent to the eel pool. I had to find out what it was and tore myself away to observe the storks which were demonstrating this behaviour.
That place was quite special for several reasons: The nature and the various civilations that had built their respective palaces, mosques and so forth on top of each other's.

Your Koolmees looks a lot like our chickadees, only with more yellow. Love the owls, too! The birds are singing here every morning now...spring's not far off!

KASEYLIB--Yes, I agree that they look alot alike. Ther act alike as well. I have often wondered if they were genetically related.
The evening and morning chorus has begun here as well. I just love hearing it. it is one of the wonders of nature, isn't it?
KAY--I am really happy that your cat likes the website. Mine do too. In fact that Chole looks alot like one of my cats from the side.
BTW Kay, did you know that you can make the pic larger than that small video window?
**Just placee your cursor in the little video window and double click. You can also klik on the tiny rectangle down at the lower right hand corner of the video window (in the horizontal green spripe).
Yes DAISY--That is a good shot of Chole, isn't it.

Thank you Sjoerd for that tip. I really enjoy watching the birds from your part of the world. Seeing your language is interesting too! I'm trying to figure out what some of the words mean by what has taken place in the video clips.

Sjoerd, Chloe cat and I have been having a good time watching the birds. We saw the Oehoe feeding it's little ones. So interesting to have this view of these birds!
I am waiting for it to warm up on this breezy, early spring day... I've worked hard all week, and now I want to do some work in my own garden!  Hoping it will warm up for me soon.

Well, I am really happy that you continue to enjoy the birds. I watch them every day. Thingsa are becoming more and more interesting now.
I guess with our time difference, you have to do some figuring to see when it is daylight here. Of course for the owls, it isn't a problem, right?
