I cannot tell the difference between the two species of boxwood for my life. From what I can tell from various sources, microphylla has shorter rounder leaves. Is there a dead-give-away that I should look for to determine the difference?
I think the Sempervirens are denser and are more compact than the Microphylla but unless I actually see the two side by side then I haven't a clue which is which.
Thanks for the replies. I thought it was just me. lol

That's funny because I have a boxwood with very dense growth, but small ovoid leaves. I'm leaning towards microphylla.
