Anyone use GC and do you like it? Do you think it is better than IE8?

I don't use either, I use Mozilla Firefox, I like it alot! It allows me to do a lot of customization.

I use it about 20% of the time. My primary browser is still FireFox. Chrome is very fast and better at showing Flash. I've noticed FireFox is becoming a bit resource intensive and crashes more than usual. However, its extensions feature is still miles ahead of Chrome's.

My verdict: give Chrome a try.

I used Google chrome before but it took up a lot of space so deleted it. I will forever stay loyal to my Firefox

Tried GC before but didn't really like it .... you are right old habits are really hard to break. Now using IE9 just like a combination of all 3 - IE8, GC & Firefox and is loving it.
