I planted 10 blaze climbing roses along the fence between us and the owner's place last spring when we moved down here. They didn't do much over the summer but they started growing when it got cooler. I took a picture of the first one to bloom and then the bushes in full bloom.

On Sunday, I took my clippers and basket and went and deadheaded the bushes. Now, I need to feed them. dr says they will bloom again in the fall.

I can see why they're called 'Blaze' Dooley as certainly create a blaze of gorgeous colour in your garden. Stew Face 2

They are gorgeous too. My one grandmother had nothing but roses in her garden, but she died when Daddy was little, so I never got to see her garden except in one old photo. It is my favorite picture of her.

Lovely, and such a good selection of a climbing rose. Blaze is beautiful and you obviously have a great spot for them. Bet your neighbor is happy, too!
