When I post or post a reply it takes a considerable length of time after hitting submit for the post to go. sometimes it takes 2 or 3 times clicking submit to actually send it.
Is this the norm?

Hi DMJ24. It would be ideal if everything happened instantly upon a button click rather than having to wait a few seconds. While I do try to minimise this as much as I can the reality is that there is a real computer sitting behind the site and it must process the commands it is sent.
So my advice is, just click once. That's all it will take. If it doesn't work then you will see an error page in your browser. Clicking multiple times can sometimes create two or more copies of the same information, and the moderators have to come along and delete duplicates.
Thanks.

I don't mind waiting as long as I know it isn't my lack of computer savvy causing a problem.
Thanks for the reply

Repeat what you just did to post your last message just above and there will be no need to worry about savviness
