|
I first noticed it on my chocolate mint. The edges of the leaves are turning red/purple. Maybe some deficiency?I planted my mint in a very old pot of dirt. Also it seems to be on my California Poppy which I planted in Coconut coir fiber. So do they need some fertilizer? I have a bag of one thats like 5-5-5 and one thats like 19-45-20 or something like that. Which do I use?

Are they getting to much sun and not enough water. When I pot mint it likes a lot of water.

Sometimes purpling of stems can be an indicator of inadaquate potasium uptake.
The usual fix is not to add more P of n-P-k fertilizers, rather it is to let soil warm.
If this persists a soil test may in in order for you.
"Avlailable Potasium" can have more kinks in it than a 200' hose. I think I put a link on about it here. A search may in in order.
