If you have questions about specific growing conditions or problems go ahead and ask them. There are many members who grow this plant probably in your USDA hardiness zone, they might not live in Virginia but can give you the information you are looking for.

What does it mean move to a more appropriate forum?
And how do I put stuff in my garden?

You originally posted this in the Jokes and Games forum but I moved it to the Gardening Other forum.
When you want to start a topic, click on the word Forum that is just under the GardenStew Forums logo, then you will find a list of all the Forums and can choose the proper one. For instance, photos of your blooms that you want to share would be posted in the Members Gallery, if you are looking for a recipe or want to share one...that would go in the Recipes and Cooking forum. You'll get the hang of it as you wander around reading all the information on GardenStew. And if you can't figure out which forum to use, then just PM Frank, Eileen or me and we will help you out.
To put plants in your 'My Garden' section...click on the word Plants also on that line just under the GardenStew logo, enter in the common name or botanical name of a plant that you are growing in the block next to Search Plants. Then on the left under the plant name will be a block that contains a photo of that plant and next to that is the line "Add this plant to your Garden" click on that and it will be added to your garden page.
So each time you are looking through the GardenStew Plants and find one that you are growing you can click on that line and add it.

Also Donna. If you're growing something that's not already in the Plant Database...you can "Suggest" it to get it added. Or you can contribute more info about a plant and even add photos.
