Good Monday morning all. Currently 3°C and overcast. I will need to do a lot of exercise to work off all the cake I ate yesterday! I'll start with some house cleaning and laundry.
Have a great day all Smile

Good morning all. Opened the front door this morning to find that, as my daughter said when she was about 4, the clouds fell down on us. Very foggy.

Netty, hope your daughter had a great birthday.

Shopping for Thanksgiving dinner food today, I am doing the turkeys, rolls and a couple of pies while my oldest daughter does the vegies, a pie and brownies. And she is the one who has to clean house, mine is too small to hold everyone Wink

It has been cool, rainy and foggy for the past few days which I don't really mind, except that it makes it worse for all the holiday travelers... Everyone celebrating Thanksgiving -- wishing you safe travels!

Good morning! I haven't been out yet but it's cold in here this morning. The sun is just coming up and it's supposed to get to 70. Maybe by the time we come home from the farmer's market. Just in time to turn the oven on to make pies. Have a nice day everyone and don't work too hard. dooley

A very good morning / afternoon to one and all at GardenStew. The rain has stopped, but it's definitely dull, winter weather out there. Have a good one.

Updated: It's just started raining again Embarassed

Current temperatures: 7 deg C / 44 deg F

Have a top Thursday!

Good morning all. Got pies, turkeys, rolls and deviled eggs ready for the trip to my oldest daughters house for dinner at 1. Smelling one of the turkeys cooking all night long makes for a very hungry early morning.

Cooking a turkey slowly overnight is definitely the best way to do it, 21 pounds, 9 hours at 275-300 degrees. The one I just took out of the oven is so much more tender and moist than the one I cooked yesterday afternoon.

Another drizzly foggy day but I like this kind of day. I have a little more cookin' and choppin' to do but the big things for today -- oh wait, I take that back.... I still have to cook a ham... oh dear, what am I doing sitting here....

Happy Thanksgiving everyone.
