The bluebirds do not usually come to the feeder but the last mixture of birdseed I got has dried fruit and so I have a couple that have been on the feeders. This morning He came to the ledge.

I have never seen one with such dark orange or so much of it, on one. Lovely photo.

Thank you all for the wonderful comments. I was thrilled to see him at the window and it was early morning light so his colors really showed up and I was only 5 feed away with my zoom lens...almost too close.

Another favorite bird of mine. Guess they are all my favorites.
Enjoy seeing every one of them. BTW, They love "mega worms and meal worms" also.

It's nice to see a closeup. Excellent photo Gail. Since I have no open fields near me I only see Bluebirds in-between seasons.

Thanks for all york kind comments. They have been nesting in bird house for 3 years but this is the first year they have come to the feeders.

Beautiful picture of a beautiful bird. I have had them on the tray too when I used that type of food. I really don't want them nesting here because I have too many sparrows so I quit feeding it. I would rather they find a safe place to nest and eat.
