|
I'm not sure this is the correct category for my question. I received a wonderful LED grid light for Christmas because I want to try keeping some veggies over the winter, indoors, plus have a more convenient way to start my seedlings in the spring. I see in this Forum there are a couple of posts about LEDs, but nothing very specific or detailed. Maybe I'm just not using the right search terms? I can't find much on the Internet either. Does anyone know where I can find more information about how far lights should be from the plants, how long the lights should be on... that kind of stuff? Or even recommend a book?

I don't have answers... but will be waiting for someone to come along with some info.
I just did a bit of reading about LED lights when I was shopping for a new aquarium. They do seem to be the way to go versus regular old flourescents.

Well, I'll do some experimenting and then write a book! All the searching I've done on the Internet comes up with information on how to grow marijuana indoors, and most of it's about hydroponics which I'm not using.
I'm starting some seeds today and will post about what I learn throughout the next few weeks.
Maybe there needs to be a new forum topic for Indoor LEDs under Growing Specifics? Or even just Grow Lights?
