Even a Large White butterfly (better known as cabbage white) can look attractive!! Such a pity it's caterpillars destroyed most of our lettuce though.
A baby thrush looking rather lost.
and a baby blackbird came calling too.
Our Great Spotted Woodpecker is still a regular visitor as long as there's plenty of fat cake in the feeder.

I think all baby birds are so ugly but I love them anyway.I like all kinds of birds but the cats around here keep them away.

That baby thrush looks like he's come from the wrong side of the tracks I wouldn't mess with him.
Eileen, how do think your garden (being 100% organic) compares to other gardens in your areas in terms of attracting wildlife. Not sure the 100% organic factor would make a huge difference but thought that I'd ask.

The only difference an organic garden really makes Frank is that there are no poisons of any kind on the plants to harm wildlife. There's also a diversity of insect life that you wouldn't find in a chemically controlled piece of land. The more insect life - the more birds!!

I enjoy the birds in my yard too. I really don't try to attract them bc of the cats, I guess we just naturally have a lot.
