Sorry to hear Nicky isn't feeling well Toni. A case of bad timing.

Lisa and Nicky are home now after over 6 hours in the emergency room. They did tests for the flu, strep and xrays of his lungs for pnuemonia and when those came back negative, they did blood work to determine if there was another type of bacterial or viral infection involved.
Turns out to be a really bad virus that is hitting him really hard. He has meds for the nausea and "super duper" tylenol for the headache and orders from the Dr. to stay in bed today and to stay still....that's the hardest part.
They didn't want us to bring them anything for dinner, Kenny was cooking when she got home.
Thanks you all for your concern, thankfully it wasn't anything really major.

Great news Toni, although the virus can't be much fun. Poor fellow.

Pondlady's celebration is on hold, too. Maybe the same virus?? Hopefully everyone will feel better by the weekend. Dooley

I think 7 yo's get better pretty fast. Although I admit I have not been near many of them. My guess is the dreaded flu. I got my shot!

Hey, wait. I'm OK. It is Donna's 7 yo granddaughter who is suffering some crud. No fever, but coughing and general malaise. We will get a report later today, I'm sure.

Glad to know you're up to scratch, Jan,
sorry 'bout all the little 'uns, hope they're feeling better today
- or at least in time to go back to school.
It seems like every time I have some extended time off, a bug finds me,
then goes away just in time for me to go back to work.
