I hope everyone has a blessed and safe Thanksgiving. I am not leaving my little piece of heaven on earth today. The turkey is in the oven, the ham in the electric roaster. And everything else will hopefully get done and come together by 12:00 or so. I had my traditional Thanksgiving breakfast this morning, overnight salad. I will post the recipe as soon as I can. It is yummy. Have a wonderful day my friends.

Happy Thanksgiving to you too Sharon and Richard. Had my breakfast and will watch some of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and enjoy thanksgiving dinner with some friends later. Wishing everyone bountiful blessings during this Thanksgiving holiday and throughout the year.

Happy Turkey Day! Hope everyone stuffs them selves silly today! On the news this morning they showed 6 wild turkeys on a train platform in New Jersey. It looked like they were waiting on a train. Maybe trying to get out of town before it was too late?

Well, our family dinner is on hold. Lisa had to take Nicky to the emergency room a short while ago. He got really sick last night, and woke up late this morning with a fever of 103, nausea and bad headache and of course since it is a holiday Doctors are not in their offices today.
We will wait until she calls then I think we will go on to the cafeteria for a late lunch and get take out for them. We can save the dessert and homemade frapucinnos for when he is feeling better.

Poor Nicky. I really hope it proves to be just a bug that will pass over quickly.
