Okay, I know how to do just about anything regarding home remod and repair, I am not new at this BUT...
when it comes to picking colors I am horrid. We are redoing our house in prep for a spring sale. I know that different colors sell better depending on the time of year/season (insert more psycho stuff here).
Anyway, I need color ideas for a dining room and for a kitchen with stainless appliances.
Should we stay neutral or go bold?
Would our creativity pay off on a sale?
Anyone?
I'll send you a cookie if you can help!!!!!!

Definitely go with neutrals to appeal to the masses. Good luck!

I would also go with the neutrals. As Bethie said is would appeal to more. And the clean smell of fresh paint sometimes helps the sale as well.

I would also stick with neutrals, they will be timeless and add warmth, without creating a situation where you will want to change it six months from now.Perhaps you could do one wall a shade or two deeper to add some punch.

yep, definitely neutrals, and one more thing, bake a batch of those cookies, or better yet a loaf of bread, just before a big showing, it really does impart a psych. "homey" feel to a place.

Neutral colors will allow people to picture their belongings in the space easier not having to get past bold colors not to their taste,or decor, you don't have to go to the trouble of baking, just simmer a pot of water with cinnamon in it before an open house..
