I put in my garlic plants today ... Some one sent me some geens........
Also Rosemary......ANyone ever plant that? Not my favorite HErb.

Hi there
I can understand that rosemary might not be your favorite herb since it does not exactly have eye-catching flowers. It has tiny violet, blue or lilac flowers that bloom inclusters practically throughout teh year with its best showing in late spring.
But all things aside: Rosemary is basically suited for all areas. it will thrive in any well-drained soil and full sun. I also want to add that I think rosemary has more qualities than most of uf think. I planted some Rosemary near my windows and I find that less mosquitoes come in to bug my at night.

Thanks for the info......I am trying to root the cuttings....
It is powerful and makes my head go snakey.. See I am allergic to perfumey things.. THat one is powerful.
I see your name is palm tree.. Do you by any chance have sago palms>

You are so right is is quite pungent (just the way I like as it keep the mozzies at bay). So sorry to hear about your allergy.
My name might be palm tree, but I only have a potted Phoenix roebelinii - a small dwarf palm since I lack the space in my garden to have a big one.

Doesnt matter ..I got a banana one now.
Do you live in town/ I are a country girl..Hobby farmer . Retired.

Better than no tree at all.
The banana tree? Is it a Strelitzia nicolai??
Oh I do indeed live in the city.
My plot size is almost 700 square meters and my house takes up approximately half of that area. The problem however is that the house was built on an awkward spot which left me with a decent backyard and a tiny front yard that just allows for a small garden in front. (3 x 20 m)
My children insisted on a swimming pool and thus the backyard lost 28 square meters.
My ambition is to move to a farm before I grow too old to enjoy it. I am just waiting on my baby to finish school, then I will actively work towards moving to a farm. In the meantime I will envy you.

But not really.
I had thenme last nite, and lost it
I raised a kid that hates the farm..Married and lives in town.. WIfe hates it 2.
