Hi everyone,
I d like to share with you what i have in my greenhouse: We built a huge, nice greenhouse and i got red tomatoes and green cucumber and lat week i added some beets in there and plannig to add some roses....
What do you have in your Greenhouse or Garden?

At the moment, we have some roses and some newly planted holly bushes  My baby Norfolk Pine is doing well, though I think its almost time to start adapting it to indoor conditions again. Not a lot of flowers this year, but only cause I just started ^_^ Cant wait to see what next year will bring!

we're trying our third set of tomatoes. this set will be in the greenhouse, atleast 20 plants. we want to see if we can push them into fall maybe the first of winter. I love having a greenhouse, I kept flowers blooming through the winter last year.

For me, at this time of the year it's lots of Orchids, a few Bonsai,
some more Orchids and some trays and Forsythe pots of Coleus cuttings,
 even MORE Orchids . . .  . . . well
mostly Orchids, I guess you might say. 
In a couple of months, when the nighttime temps begin to hit the 40s
it will be crammed to the rafters with hundreds of more tropical plants.
 Oh how I dread that time!!

I haven't got a greenhouse. My garden is chock-a-block with perennials, bulbs and shrubs of different kinds.

I haven't gotten the greenhouse ready yet, but I am rooting cuttings of Alternanthera, "Party Time", Persian Shield, tri color Sweet Potato Vine, and will do dome coleus, oh and I also have some rooted chartreuse Shrimp Plants. I am collecting seeds also to start plants in the greenhouse in Jan. or Feb.
Zuzu, would the Jiffy seed starting mix work as well in the Forsythe pots?

I looked up the composition of the Jiffy Seed Starter -

I don't know what Terralite is,
but I sure don't see why you shouldn't give the starter mix a try . . .
. . . who knows, it might work even better than the vermiculite?

One pepper, one tomato, at this time. Since it is still warm outside, most of my plant containers are outside. I will start to move them inside when the tempreture drops below 40.
My greenhouse is actually a heated sunroom. This will be the first year I use it to seriously grow plants during winter and I have too many things outside to move in.
I do not know how the low E insulated glazing will have imapct on plant grow or productivity. It helps a lot in controlling the tempreture, though.
Another problem is the greenhouse flies. This time, I will try to put a layer of play sand on the top of the soil. Does any one has a better solution?

Hi all,
My beets i added not so far ago are doing great and i so happy about it. And yesterday my husband ordered some roses for my greenhouse... Cant wait when i get them....

My little greenhouse is in need of repair, with three window panes gone...alas! Somehow I don't think it's going to be much use this winter beyond being a 'sheltered spot' unless I get my rear in gear and fix it.
Right now it is just storage for gardening stuff, everybody is still outside in their pots.

Scanmask is probably the best to fight this tiny flying pests. I am going to order some. Has anyone used this product?

Although the weather is still warm, chipmunks are now very busy to collect seeds. I have to move all papers indoor otherwise they will haul all of them. Now I have 14 pepers inside.
