|
Good morning,
This morning after dropping Gavin off to day care, I will be picking up Weasel. Weasel is a cat that I have rescued from the Humane Society. But don't tell Shuan, my fiance, he doesn't know yet... Yesterday, I had some time to kill before I had an appointment, so I decided to stop at the Humane Society with Gavin, we both fell in love with Weasel. He is an orange and white tiger, he is so playful and cuddly he was absolutely great with Gavin, so I decided then and there to adopt him...

Well, Weasel is here somewhere, I don't exactly know where as of now...he's been hiding... Last night was interesting when Shuan realized hat there was a cat in the house, he decided to go pout in the garage for a while, then he locked himself in the bedroom for a few hours, until I called him down for dinner, which of course I made his favorite, fore seeing what would happen. Last night as we were getting ready for bed, Weasel came in to our room and jumped on our bed and rubbed all over Shuan and Shuan just couldn't help but pet him, let's just say Shuan has changed his mind...he has called several times today from work to check on Weasel, the only problem, is I haven't seen Weasel all day. I have search all over our house looking for him. I haven't seen hide nor hair of him. Shuan is worried, and says he will come home and find him. It seems he has changed his tune about Weasel. As soon as I find him I will take some photos and post them. I will also keep you updated on Shuan and Weasel's interaction...LOL

It's Thursday morning, I haven't seen Weasel since Tuesday night, we have looked all over the house. Shuan feels extremely guilty about the whole thing. He feels that I think he may have done something to Weasel, he has looked all over for Weasel last night when he came home and this morning before leaving for work. Hopefully he didn't get out some how. Gavin is heart broken, he can't find the kitty. I will keep you posted.

Oh dear I really hope you find Weasel. I presume you've checked the garage and any outbuildings? It's so worrying when a new pet goes AWOL so I'll keep my fingers crossed that he turns up soon.
Maybe you could ring the place you got him from just in case he's decided to go back there.

So typical of cats.
However, congratulations on the new addition - I hope Weasel decides to surface soon. You son will enjoy having a pet.

Good morning everyone,
Weasel has been found. After searching for two days, he was found only after he was heard crying, he got stuck under a dresser in the back of my closet. He is now happy running around the house just purring away. He is so loveable. Here are a few pictures of him.
Shuan has fallen in love with Weasel. Weasel still isn't so sure about Gavin as of yet. I couldn't be more happier about my decision to adopt him, by the way, he has caught his first mouse this morning, making Shuan appreciate him all the more.
