Category: Logan is very sick | Posted: Wed Jan 27, 2010 11:52 pm

Logan has been very sick. His temp.was 105.9 degrees day before yesterday .It was diagnosed as sore throat. He was a little better yesterday. This morning Heathermt. took him back to the Pediatrician .He has a bad rash.He was diagnosed as having Kawasaki Disease. Its very rare and it effects the blood vessels and lymph nodes. He was admitted to the hospital. It can effect the heart. It was first discovered in Japan. He has a Heart Specilist care now. Please say lots of prayers for my baby Logan. He is just 2 1/2 years old.

These picture are mostly recent pictures of my little Logan.

Glenda...I am sorry to hear about the trials you are going through with little Logan. That is a very high temp, but I'm glad he is now in the Drs. hands, and hopefully they caught this disease early, and there will be no lasting effects. Blessings to your family, and prayers also

So sorry to hear this Glenda, my prayers a certainly with him and all of your family. I have two grandsons around his age and I know how hard it is when they are sick, much less when it turns serious. I will say a prayer right now!

Oh poor little Logan...I'm so worried about him! ((((HUGS))) to all of y'all!! Y'all are all in my thoughts and prayers as always.I hope he recovers very quick. I love, love, love the photo of you and Logie Bear!!! Adorable!! You sure can see the love showering down on him!

Sjoerd wrote on Fri Jan 29, 2010 2:10 pm:

Oh my Glenda...I see now that I was so amazed at how much you two look alike, that I commented on that and forgot to dend my well wishes. Please forgive me.
Kawasaki's is indeed a serious autoimmune disease, which will require careful monitoring for some time to come.
I am glad that he is home now, but his folks will need to keep an eye on him and follow his doctor's advice carefully.
Fingers crossed that he will not have a relapse.

glendann wrote on Fri Jan 29, 2010 5:29 pm:

I want to thank you all for all the prayers for my little Logie Bear.I have been so afraid he would relapse but the Dr.is keeping a close eye on him and the high doses of asprin
is to keep him from having blood clots. It will be a long while before he is clear of this stuff and is very dangerous. It is usually hard to dignois.Thank God his Dr.has had app.5 other cases and knew it fast.
I have been told he favors me since he was a tiny baby.Thats the first thing his other grandmother said the first time she saw him.

Thank you all very much for all your prayers and concerns. The Dr keeps a close watch on him as well as his parents. He is back at being his old self. The Dr.said they caught it so fast it may never return but he has to be watched.
