one more caterpillar

Category: nature's marvels | Posted: Tue Nov 24, 2009 7:23 am

ok, this seems to be the only thing i write about - caterpillars! this one is on one of my bonsai trees, and is growing still. i think this is of the black with red & yellow dots butterfly of which i had posted a picture earlier, just out of the cocoon.
then there was this monster of a hopper which one day chewed on one of my anthurium flowers. it was about 4" long and had legs so long, it was scary. i had to kill it to get it out of my shade net housing.

That looks like the Monarch Cat.

A nice-looking caterpillar, but a nasty locust-like thing.
Both of these guys look like they were born to eat.
