I found a bee in my garden even though our weather isn't very nice...it was a cool day so he wasn't in any hurry. He did visit my tulips and he rested on a leave..

I like it when the bumble bees are starting to buzz about. Then it's spring for sure! He's probably trying to thaw out a bit before heading off home.

You brave to get that close. Smile Though I know bees help our plants. I try to stay away from them.

I've seen a couple bumbles, but that's all so far - keep watching for my mason bees to wake up, I'd like to figure out how to attract more of them for my fruit trees.

Nice picture, bees are so pretty.

All the bees are buzzing here in Scotland and it's lovely to hear them in the garden again. I spent 20 minutes trying to get a big bumble out of the shed - silly thing evidently didn't know I was just trying to help him escape. Rolling Eyes

Petunia the the white faced ones don't sting.I use to tap them with somthing and knock them down and while out tie a string on them and this you have one on a lease and have hours of fun following them.Smile

Isn´t that a nice looking bumblebee! Looks like he´s taking up a little sun before the real buzzing starts.
Those are such good and clear pics.
