The new garden is totally clean now and some things have been planted. The spuds are up and the corn plot has been prepared and marked. That was alot of work. The only thing now that lags behind is a portion of the flower garden, which is languishing in a sea of for-get-me nots.
The first foto shows the new garden...clean as a whistle.
A few shots of the progress in the greenhouse.

Then the left side (Runner beans, corn and lettuce on the elevated plank):
Finally, the right side showing the lettuce and toms on the ground--as well as a container of marigolds:
Good things begin small.

Bet you can't wait to get all those plants in the ground Sjoerd now that it's all cleaned. I'm impressed by all the hard work you and your partner have put into it. Planting is the bit that I enjoy most in the garden so have fun!!!

Looks like a great set up you have. I hope to rototill my garden today, as I'm off of work. I saw my asparagus poking its head out from the ground yesterday (it's up about an inch)...this is the third year that it's been in, so I'll be able to harvest some this spring. Can't wait!!! Might get my windows washed too and the screens back on. I love spring and all the chores that come with it.

great job Sloerd. Its looking clean & spiffy. Your greenhouse is looking good too. Now will you leave things planted right there in your GH or once it gets at a certain point, will you transplant them outside in the bigger garden? For example, will tomatoes stay in the greenhouse? Everything lookin gooood.

Thanks folks. It uis a great feeling to have things clean...and then watch the open spaces fill up all over again.
Petunia- The things like the toms wiull stay exactly where they are...so will the lettuces that are in the ground.
The corn, runnerbeans and lettuce up on that little plank on the left side will be planted out when they are ready.
I have a few extra toms in white ice cream containers on the ground...but they are destined for friends who regularly get them each year (if I don't need them to replace originals due to damage or disaster).
I usually grow papricas in there too, but not this year. This tear it's going to be toms, toms, toms....all for eating and canning. 
I'm being a bit greedy this year. heh heh.

Tomatoes are great. Tomatoes can be used in many ways. We canned 24 jars or more last year and that was my first year of canning.

Wow you have been busy. A lot of work, but just thinking about all those tasty vegies soon to come makes it worth it.

Wow, Sjoerd, you have been really busy! All those plants look great and so healthy. Isn't that a good feeling to know you grew that! Always does to me. Well done.
You must be really really tall,,lol, because those pics look a looonnggg way down,,,lol.

Droopy...Yeah, I wish you could too.--but y'know what would be even better?...being here when it's time to harvest it. Ha ha ha ha.  yum-yum.
Toni, you are soooooo right. The harvesting of a sucessful crop is fantastic, but planting them and watching them grow up is fun as well.
Yes Biita, it is a good feeling of accomplishment. One of the best feelings there is.
I am fairly tall, that is true. Just as well, cos otherwise things wouldn't fit on the pic. ha ha ha. Either that, or I'd have to get a chair to stand on--but the legs would just sink into the soft soil 
It's been a pretty good spring so far, fingers crossed that it rains a little now and then. The temps are due to rise quickly over the coming days here. I wonder if it will dry things out alot.
