Hi there! I´m not sure if it´s a dumb question or not but... When using a soaker hose watering system in the vegetable garden is it necessary to dig furrows and make rows like that or can I just plant the seedlings in rows into the flat soil which I have previously dug a lot and added lots of nice stuff.
thanks

I don't know what the 'wise' answer would be, but mine do just fine if they aren't raised up in their rows but simply planted. One nice thing about raised furrows/rows is they *do* make it easier to tell where you planted so you can be sure not to trod on the seedlings or accidently weed them out, but you can also just mark it another way (little sticks at either end with a bit of twine between them, for instance, or a sprinkled line of different-colored mulch.)
