Here's another yard plant I haven't been able to identify. It is a broadleaf evergreen with leaves that look much like laurel. In Spring it gets new growth with the new leaves being reddish and stays this color, on top of the old green leave for several months. Large Shrub....maybe 12 feet high. I have included a close up of the leaves. Any guesses?

Yup! that seems to be correct. This one does not seem to have signs of a disease that apparently affects most red tips, so it might be the Chinese phontinia. I will keep watch on it this spring and see what develops. Thanks for all the input!

I've had some for about 4 years, and I am always having to spray them for white fly or something. I want to get rid of them and put something else in. Don't know the name, but it is hardy and grows very fast. Has silvery greenish-gray leaves.
