Ok...I know some of my gardenstew bubbies do not care for these little critters, but I just love them. They are playful, cute as a button, and curious.
This first 2 photos are my little hummingbird feeder hook buddy. He perches on top most of the day and even hangs on the side to sleep at night. When I stand at the window he turns his head to check me out.

The photo below was taken a this afternoon. He keeps showing off his poofy little red neck and bouces up and down. He's done this several times. Today is the first time I've been able to get a photo of him showing off.
After the photo, I started to do my daily chores and looked up to see him peeping at me. He jumped to the window and was watching me. All this time I thought he was entertaining me.....guess I had it backwards.

Later on today, I saw this little guy through my kitchen window. He jump from the trellis to the hook and then onto the hummingbird feeder. I've seen these little cuties on the other hummingbird feeder, so it wasn't a surprise to see him hanging out. Makes sense...sugar water attracks the little flying critters...which attracts the lizards.

I was shocked to see this little guy getting his sugar fix. He was lapping up the sugar water.

As you see from the photo below that my sleathy photo taking (behind my plant in the window) did not fool this little fellow.

Those are kinda cute but I'll let you's keep them there. Don't think I'd want to find one in my garden or in my house especially. But thanks for posting.

They are so cute!!!! I watched, through a window, as my son's cat was checking out a skink. Sure enough, the little lizard finally had enough and detatched it's tail- I've never actually seen one do that before! The tail twitched like mad; it caught my dog's attention, but the cat was way too clever for that old trick and went after the lizard ( I intervened with nature at that point and brought the kitty inside) The tail kept twitching for 20 minutes!

Daph you take such interesting piccies. Very Happy I especially like the one where he is displaying. I wonder if he's managed to attract a mate yet? I so enjoy seeing the creatures that visit everyones gardens and your little fellow is fascinating. Stew Face 1

Lizards would be a fun addition to my garden. The closest we've got here are snakes, and they do a good job with the rodents. You did a great job of capturing the little guy.

What a great creature to have in the yard.
We have had Gecko's in our yard for years, they do a great job keeping down the pesky bug population.

I have lots of those as well. The little baby ones are so cute. They remind me of the Geico commercial!

Great pics DaphDaph. I don't get them in ME but have seen them at my in-laws in FL. He's cute, I'd spend a lot of time watching him too if here were in my garden. Thanks for sharing.
