Don't know if this will do any good... As bad as I hate to, I am taking the bird feeders down and giving them to my son. Maybe with food temptation gone the squirrels will go away! I'm hoping so at least. But I sure am going to miss my little birds. Crying or Very sad

Your squirrels sound like mine. They chewed a hole in our garbage can too, and they chewed up every bird feeder I tried, so I finally gave up feeding the birds. I do miss them now.

We use a bird feeder with the metal section that closes down when too much weight is put on it -- so birds get the food, but squirrels are locked out.

A shotgun works good around here and they taste good too!

Not sure if it is an option for you or not but in my neck of the woods we shoot em and eat em once we get like 5 or six. They are very yummy in stew. Just my 2 cents
