Finally, I have something blooming again. My first columbine. These are one of my favorites and I'm not sure what happened to the purple one, it was bushy like the pink one last year.
When I bought these they were just little tiny plants and the last couple years they have taken off. I'm guessing my purple one got ate by something maybe.

I do soooo love columbines and yours are very pretty. We call them Granny's Bonnets here in Scotland as they look like old fashioned poke bonnets. Mine are just coming into bud now so it shouldn't be long before they open.

Over here in Europpe the annual Chelsea Flower Show has been going on for the past week and I saw one segment that featured some Aquilegias and they showed us some really large ones. I just gawked and looked in amazement. I wonder if they will come onto the market next year.
I still think that yours are great.
