Still plenty of Aquilegas in flower, but now others are starting to show their colours.
This lovely little salvia I bought from an open garden in the next village for a few pence. I don't know if it is hardy so I will take cuttings soon and keep them in the cool greenhouse, just in case.
I have lots of these yellow daylillies now open. I did inherit a lot from a job I worked on last year and I have them in a large planter currently until they flower and I know what colour they are. No buds - boohoo - but I am hoping they are different.
This is a glory vine which is a tender creeper here in the UK, however, it seeds itself all over the place in my garden and I don't mind at all. The curious thing with this plant is the crushed foliage has the most rotten smell!
And the lovely Digitalis or foxgloves are coming into their own at last. One of my grandad's fave flowers, he reakons they are every bit as beautiful as orchids. I have some species ones also, but they are in the front garden and won't flower for at least another month.
Hope you enjoyed my Essex colour.

Lovely fotos, EJ--you've got some dazzling beauties there. You guys may have it cold there at the moment, but you are still ahead of us here.--a blooming daylilly. I don't even have buds yet. hahaha.
That little salvia is looking particularly good.
Keep up the good work and give another show when you have time.

You've got daylilies already?!!! Gosh mine are just coming into bud now so they won't be flowering for a while yet. Everything you have flowering seems to be about three weeks ahead of mine.

Lovely colour. The Salvia-bloom is so pretty. I like your creeper, too, I've never seen anything like that here. Your foxglove and day lily are great! Thanks for sharing.
