We went shopping in a little shopping mall and I found this gorgeous grass.I hope someone can ID it for me as I sure do want it in my yard.
The blooms are so wonderful.

Oh Glenda I agree!! It is beautiful. Almost looks like an iris of some sort.

I saw this same plant at Home Depot yesterday! I can't for the life of me remember what the tag said. The flowers where really pretty. Can you check at your Home Depot?

According to my plant encyclopedia that's a Dietes bicolor. It's a bulb. You can read about it here.

Yep,Thats it also is called Peacock Flower, Bicolor Iris, Evergreen Iris, Spanish Iris, African Iris
Dietes bicolor.
