This one is within this area of bushes I have and it's very pretty, but I do not know it's name. Anyone out there know it?

Reminds me of the chokecherry bushes we had when I was a kid. The fruit was tempting but oh so bitter!

It doesn't produce cherry type fruit that the birds eat. They are very small so it could be.

It definately looks like Prunus padus. It's my sow-outside-alarm. I've learned that when it blooms the soil is warm enough for us to sow directly outside. I also plant annuals once that tree blooms.

That's such great info Droopy. I was just telling DH that I think it's getting warm enough to put seed out. Thanks for the info.
