The waterfall can be heard all throughout the house and back yard. It's a combination of brazilian and Indian slate and cinder blocks and cement. WHAT A CRAZY PROJECT! You should have seen all the dirt that was excavated out of the back yard. The next "evolution" is to create a "slurry" of moss taken from other stones, buttermilk & stale beer in an old blender and "paint" it haphazardly on the cinder block, misting it 3/day for a couple of weeks. I'm told that this will allow moss to grow over the cinderblocks and make it look like it's been there 100 years (at least, that's what I'm going for anyway) Patience, patience...we'll see!

I am just totally amazed at the area waterfall and your complete yard.

I'm lost for words. It's so beautiful! I like your moss idea, please keep us updated. Wish you were near here, moss grows everywhere and fast, and you could cover the entire thing if you wanted to.

I have heard of making 'moss' with the buttermilk process, but haven't ever seen the finished project. Be sure and take pictures after the 'process'.

What a beautiful water feature. We're busy trying to rake all the moss out of our lawn at the moment. What a pity you don't live near us because then you could have it all with our blessings. Good luck with your slurry method of growing moss - hope it works well for you. Do let us see your progress with it.

Wow! Great job! It looks fantastic. Yes, more pics please after the moss goes in. I'm sure it will look great. Good luck!
