Well the first reasonable-sized harvest is in. It's going to be a meagre harvest this year due to feezing of many of the flower buds on last years' plants and the new first years' plants.
Oh well, less jam, but more fresh ones to eat...that will be fine too.
I can't bring myself to blush for some reason.
Here are a couple of pics of just how decadent we really are around strawberry time.

Now you're just trying to make us all jealous by showing us those lucious strawberries. Shame on you Sjoerd as mine won't be ready for a while yet!! I want to reach into those tubs and taste one or two (maybe more because once I've started I tend not to stop until they've all gone) but I keep stubbing my fingers on the screen.
